GIN
Our small batch gin has 40% alcohol volume.
No, never! We use only natural ingredients in our gins, such as natural botanicals, fruits, herbs and spices, sourced as locally as possible.
Small batch gin is made in small distilleries, usually by a master distiller using traditional techniques. It can also be referred to as craft or artisan gin. It usually – as in our case – uses only natural ingredients and only a limited quantity is made per batch to a unique recipe. This is the opposite of the commercial gins that you will find in the supermarket. These are mass-produced and may contain artificial flavorings or additives. Small batch gin is made with a greater attention to detail, and a lot of care and passion from the master distiller.
This is a matter of personal preference (no judgement here!), but we enjoy sipping our gin on the rocks, or with some Mediterranean tonic and a twist of citrus peel.
Where do we start?! Our gin is truly unique, made to a custom recipe that you won’t find anywhere else. It is made with love by a master distiller who produces the gin from only natural ingredients in small (actually, very small) batches to ensure the very highest quality. Add to that the fact that it is made literally a monkey’s throw from Hartlepool where our famous monkey met his fate, and you can easily see why our gin is a stand-out.
MERCHANDISE
Sustainability is very important to us, and we have been deliberate in our supply chain decisions to minimize our impact, while still delivering great quality branded products.
Around 85% of all textiles produced by the fashion industry ends up in landfill, making it a major contributor to environmental damage. This is unacceptable in our opinion. As such, we have chosen to partner with on-demand suppliers, meaning that we only produce items as we receive orders for them. This avoids creating textile waste from overproduction.
We also have partnered with printers who use the latest printing technology which creates almost no wastewater and uses less energy than standard industry printers, helping to lower our carbon footprint.
Our apparel items are packed in post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic mailers, which are made from everyday items, like used plastic bags and bottles. Choosing PCR over first-use plastics reduces the environmental impact on our planet.
Yes! Many of our printed products use the direct-to-garment (DTG) technique, where the ink is sprayed directly onto the garment and soaks into the fabric. The inks that we use for printing are Oeko-Tex™ certified, vegan, water-based and free of harmful chemicals. Any leftover ink is disposed of according to the ink supplier guidelines.
Embroidery generally is more durable and produces less environmental waste than other customization methods. We embroider our products with Oeko-Tex™ certified threads, which are safe for both adult and children’s clothing.
Our merchandise is available globally, so we use a sophisticated fulfilment network to produce your order as close to your location as possible. This reduces both the environmental impact from shipping as well as the time it takes for us to deliver the item to you.
All our merchandise items are made on demand, which means we will start working on it once you place your order. Fulfilment time will vary depending on the product(s) chosen and the fulfilment location. All merchandise orders ship free using the most appropriate courier and packaging for the item(s). You will receive an email shipping notification that will include the expected delivery date.
Our base products are supplied by multiple vendors so sizing can vary between products. We have included a size chart for all applicable items on the product pages for your reference.
All merchandise items ship free worldwide. You can find our complete shipping policy here
As all our items are made to order, we cannot accept exchanges or returns, unless the product is defective. We believe that the environmental benefits of on-demand production outweigh any possible inconvenience that this may cause. We include detailed item descriptions, images, and size charts on our product pages for your reference, and we are always happy to answer any questions you may have before ordering. Please review our returns policy for more details.
